2009 Labor Day Family Day Camp FAQs
Our great spiritual texts point out the value and importance of Satsang in furthering one’s spiritual journey. To that end, we are blessed to have the opportunity of receiving guidance and spiritual discourse on two great texts from one of Chinmaya Mission’s senior Swamijis.
This family day camp will serve to rejuvenate and revitalize oneself by giving us a hands-on way to integrate spirituality into our everyday lives.
Camp Features:
- Satsang with Swami Shantananda
- Learn to chant Aditya Hridayam
- Separate & simultaneous Children’s and Youth classes and activities (children 5 and above)
- Delicious vegetarian meals
Cost: $200/Family $150/Couple $100/Single (meals included)
A late fee of $25 will be charged for all registrations received after August 23, 2009.
About Swamiji: Swami Shantananda has dedicated his life to Mission work and Vedantic teachings, and is presently the resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission New Jersey. Swamiji was instrumental in founding CM in Hong Kong and Taiwan. As a speaker, Swamiji’s talks are filled with wonderful insights into life and people respond instantly to his wisdom and affectionate nature. In 2001, as his person tribute to Pujya Gurudev, Swami Chinmayanandaji, to commemorate the 50th-year celebrations of Chinmaya Mission, Swamiji undertook and completed 50 Gita Jnana Yagnas all around the world.
